The tubes, asymmetrical by design, are now used symmetrically, opening up new sonic spaces.
The Square Tube is a complete tube amplifier, delivering output voltage directly. It’s not a tube preamplifier, let’s be clear! The originality of this new design resides in the fact that it delivers symmetrical alternative voltage. The listening results are astonishing! The smoothness of tubes is combined with extreme precision of detail! Instruments are positioned with the utmost rigor, and voices express themselves naturally, without halo.
Neither tube sound nor transistor sound: Kora sound. In the case of power amplifiers, and in order to deliver the current required by loudspeakers, the Square Tube is assisted by extremely linear power transistors. These components are not involved in amplifying the signal, they simply supply the output current.
